Throughout my advanced layout and design class, I was assigned to work on a program design for the upcoming AAAE Conference being held in Manhattan. Some of the objectives were to create a design that was engaging, showcased some aspect of Kansas or rural living and to come up with a theme for the conference. The theme I selected was "Growing the Next Generation."
Note: There has been placeholder text added from the 2023 program because all of the information needed for the 2024 program has not been finalized at this time.
Throughout my advanced layout and design class, I was assigned to work with a Baking Science student as a client to create a food label design for their new product. My student had chosen to create a Cream Cheese Cookie Dough that would be used as a dip or just to eat. I pulled design ideas from products like ice cream and edible cookie dough to create my final product.
Note: A placeholder Nutrition Facts label has been placed in this design.
Through my internship with the Missouri State Fair, I did a large amount of graphic design. Major of my pieces were for print and digital use. Here I have included my Souvenir Program, Queens Contest Book, windmasters, banners, and the livestock barn schedules.
Through my classes at Kansas State University, I have been given many opportunities to apply my knowledge through projects. In this project for my Ag Communications 110 class, I created a one-page print layout.

These logos have been designed for past school projects or personal projects. One of my biggest objectives when creating a logo is to create variety throughout my designs. A logo is the one part of a business that makes the most impressions so it is vital to have a logo that best displays the company or product.
The logos below were created for Cottonwood Creek Farms, my family farm.

These digital drawings were first created on paper, with references being my own photographs. They then were transferred onto a digital platform and were taken from an original sketch into a digital drawing. These drawings were my first freelance project for a company and were what truly pushed me back into the Western industry. These digital drawings showcase my ability to curate original ideas, along with my ability to take original images, draw sketches, and create digital content.
